Terminating TENANTS

Evictions are complicated and, with the changes in the law, missteps could cost a landlord thousands of dollars. This seminar will cover the eviction process from the first signs of trouble through the process to forcibly remove the tenant. The newest termination forms that follow the new laws will be reviewed.

SPEAKER:

Violet Wilson is the "V" in V & R Management. Violet is Oregon licensed and works full-time as a property manager. Violet holds a Bachelor of Arts in Science from San Jose State University and a Masters of Science in Education from Western Oregon University. She was a high school teacher for over 36 years in California and Oregon schools. V & R Management, LLC has operated since 1990, specializing in single family home rentals but they have managed all types of properties.

Violet is a past vice president of Oregon Rental Housing Association, current President of the ORHA, and serves on the ORHA Legislative Action Committee. Since 2008, she has taught property management classes for local and the state housing provider associations. In addition, she has volunteered to teach classes to help tenants become better residents.
