Salem Rental Housing Association is an organization of rental owners and managers and those engaged in related industries. The members are either individuals or companies.
Salem RHA consists of rental property owners and/or manager representing rental housing units in Marion and Polk County. Members own or manage as few as one, or more than several hundred units.
Salem RHA is your local organization affiliated with the statewide organization called Oregon Rental Housing Association (ORHA). This affiliation makes our membership a part of a larger, more powerful, lobbying group. This enables the passage of fair and beneficial housing legislation. ORHA represents more that 3,500 owners and managers who are responsible for more that 100,000 residential housing units. It is this strength in numbers that is so powerful for lobbying legislative issues.
It’s a business with a major impact on your income and net worth. Managing your rental deserves serious attention, and responsible treatment. It can make you money, or it can lose you money. Salem RHA can help you create a positive experience… one of greater stability and growth.
One owner alone has virtually no power, but many owners/managers joining together and working with their Senators and Representatives and the Oregon Rental Housing Association’s Legislative Director and Lobbyist can, and do, make a difference. We provide that chance for unity.
HAVE YOU EVER SUFFERED FROM DELINQUENT RENTS, DAMAGED PROPERTY, OR EVICTIONS?

YOU’VE NEVER HAD A SERIOUS RENTAL PROBLEM?
Many people manage for years without a problem, but when one comes up, it costs an average of four months’ rent to cover the damages left by a bad tenant. Fair housing violation may run well above $10,000 each! SRHA is an inexpensive source of the most useful type of information and support that will help you steer clear of expensive problems.
