Shawn started his lobby career in Annapolis, Maryland following graduation from the University of Maryland Baltimore County in 1993 with a political science degree. Following the 1993 Maryland legislative session, Shawn returned to Oregon and founded Miller Public Affairs. He has lobbied since 1994 in Oregon and has influenced the outcomes of countless pieces of legislation. Shawn has earned a reputation in the halls of the Capitol as one of the hardest working lobbyists in Oregon.
